“I…am an Autumn.”
~ Richard Gilmore
You may remember my ‘Autumn Festival’ illustration from last year; inspired by one of my favourite TV shows ‘Gilmore girls.’ Well, it’s now available in my shop as a 500 piece puzzle! I’ve worked with the ‘puzzle people’ at Trevell before, when we partnered together to create my mini travel puzzles. I was delighted to be asked to collaborate with them again this year for a much larger puzzle.
The puzzle is contained in a cute retro-inspired box, which coincidentally perfectly suits my green striped tissue paper and Grá ‘thank you’ card. I was blown away by the supportive response of my customers and followers to these puzzles this month, and just how popular puzzles are in general! It’s great to see a cosy and nostalgic hobby like this still going strong in a tech-dominant world.
Inspired by the fictional town of Stars Hollow from the TV show Gilmore Girls, fans of the show will immediately be drawn to its local shops, colourful houses, and park adorned with pumpkins and fallen leaves. Stop by Luke's Diner, then browse antiques at Mrs. Kim's, and finish the tour of the town with a big cup of coffee and a chat with Sookie and Lorelai. The completed puzzle size is 50.8cm x 36cm. A little print of the scene is also included within the box, which you can reference as you puzzle. This can also be framed as a cute print afterwards! The puzzle pieces are packaged in a handy cotton string-bag for ease of storage. Available now in store in limited quantities.
